• Enjoying the life of a graduate student spouse at the University of British Columbia
• Studying Mandarin Chinese
• Studying for my private pilot's license

• Working for with Marriage Equality California to legalise marriage for same-sex couples

• I am a big fan of Equality California Institute and Marriage Equality California, and was on their board.
• I used to be co-Chair of the Planning Council of the Unitarian Universalist Church of Palo Alto (UUCPA)
• Building a web site devoted to "Of Mice and Men", the opera by Carlisle Floyd.
• Converting Isa Loughran's "Spindles" thesis to PDF and Web format.
• Celebrating my wedding to Ducky, and our honeymoon.
